So far our campaign is moving along and we have made just over 300 bottles. That means though that we still have a very long way to go to 1,000! ! !
We have donated nearly 200 of these Bottles of Hope to both the Kingston and Ottawa Regional Cancer Centers.
Beginning again in September, after Labour Day, we will meet again at Artemisia every Tuesday between 2 and 5 pm to create HOPE! Please do join us and a heartfelt thanks for joining this campaign!
We are now two artists from the Land O' Lakes and Rideau Lakes Regions in Ontario. Bonnie and Georgia invite you to browse at Artemisia, our art gallery, gifts and art services business in Westport, Ontario.
We bring many years of experience to our Art Services --
art conservation, Bonnie ~ and framing, Georgia,
and we now carry a line of art supplies for the beginner or advanced artist. as well as provide a venue for over 20 local artists in the gallery.
We now offer classes and workshops for adults, youth and children. In the future we will add, as well, evenings devoted to art films, music and literary performances by local artists.
We will be meeting once or twice a month starting in July 2010, afternoons or evenings sharing tips, techniques and just plain fun. Focus of each meeting will be determined by the members -- painting, sculpting, writing poetry or memoirs -- whatever our talents and interests dictate.
